Central Computing Facility

The Central Computing Facility (CCF) in Sree Narayana Institute of Technology, forms an important component of the Institute’s Infrastructure, The institution recognizes the key role that IT plays in teaching as well as in research and providing a wide spectrum of services to the students as well as faculty and staff involved in research and other academic activities.

All students have various computer related papers in their courses. The CCF provides the support for them to have a hands-on- feel of what they learn in the classrooms and enhance their computer skills. The CCF also supports research activitie undertaken in the institute. The Lab has 63 nodes connected wired operating on BSNL wired network connection at speed of 4Mbps. This centre will be open on all working days and Saturdays from 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Students use the Central Computing Facility during interval, lunch break and after college time. Around 60% of students using CCF during lunch break. Students spend their time at CCF for surfing about new technologies, familiarize designing softwares, preparing notes and documents, online tutorial classes etc. We have separate CCF for B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA students. Postgraduate students spend their 60% of time at CCF for their academic and research purposes.
